Job Summary

This Manager, Clinical Trials role involves supporting and eventually leading a cross-functional team responsible for the execution of one or more clinical studies (Phase 1-3). The successful candidate will be instrumental in defining and implementing study quality standards, managing vendor oversight, and ensuring that study timelines are met, introducing mitigations when necessary. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and compiling essential documents for ethics committee and health authority submissions, reviewing training materials, and supervising assigned clinical trial specialists. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related health profession, coupled with a minimum of four years of professional experience as a Clinical Study Manager, CRA, or similar role, specifically coordinating cross-functional teams. Experience in Oncology or infectious diseases is beneficial. This is a highly collaborative and proactive role, requiring strong organizational and communication skills, often involving work in an unblinded capacity to address quality incidents and CAPAs.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences or a university degree with experience in a health profession.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in pharma/biotech as a Clinical Study Manager, Project Manager, CRA/Clinical Monitor or in a similar function.
  • Experience coordinating a cross functional team for study execution (Phase 1-3).
  • Experience working in Oncology or infectious diseases (A plus).
  • Experience working globally (A plus).
