Job Summary

This role involves working as an AI Developer for TKMS GmbH in Kiel, a leading global systems provider for submarines and naval vessels. The primary focus is on the development and implementation of innovative AI-driven applications, encompassing areas such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Generative AI, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems. Daily responsibilities include designing and programming modern software modules, building and integrating robust data pipelines for training and operating AI models, and ensuring high standards of code quality through practices like Clean Code and Unit Tests. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Data Scientists and AI Architects to deliver productive solutions. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, several years of software development experience, and specific expertise in RAG implementation. This is a permanent position offering the chance to evaluate new AI technologies within a high-tech defense environment.
