Job Summary

This role involves leading a research team within the global Herbicides Early Biology unit, focusing on analyzing the mode of action of novel herbicidal active ingredients. The Team Leader will be responsible for observing and evaluating market trends, competitor activities, and academic research to derive relevant insights for product development. Day-to-day tasks include actively contributing to recommendations for new products and applications, initiating and managing customer-oriented projects, and meticulously documenting progress and milestones. Furthermore, the role requires organizing workflows in coordination with laboratory and project teams, leading less complex projects, and providing technical leadership to assigned staff while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in a natural science discipline (Biology, Biochemistry) and possesses deep expertise in plant physiology, cell biology, and molecular biology, along with proficiency in microscopy (CLSM) and project management. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are mandatory for this position, which offers a guaranteed permanent role in a future independent Agricultural Solutions company.
