Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a scientifically minded leader to join the Agricultural Solutions division, initially employed by BASF SE before transitioning permanently to a newly formed subsidiary. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a laboratory team focused on the analysis of active substances and formulated products, specifically crop protection products. Day-to-day tasks involve solving complex analytical challenges, collaborating closely with R&D, operations, and regulatory teams, and participating in international project teams. Key requirements include a PhD in chemistry or a related field, deep expertise in chromatography and high-resolution mass spectrometry, and excellent communication skills in English. The position demands a digitally savvy, pragmatic team player who can independently manage internal and external resources while driving innovation within the analytical group by implementing new ideas and concepts.
