Job Summary

This role seeks a Senior Service Technician to join the Onsite Support Team in Berlin, providing crucial decentralized Second-Level Support, particularly at the Federal Court of Auditors. The technician will be responsible for end-to-end incident management, including acceptance, verification of contract status, timely troubleshooting, and comprehensive documentation using ITSM tools like Matrix42. A key focus is processing requests related to standard hardware, software, telephony, and specialized high-security IT solutions such as SINA and GENUA, all while strictly adhering to SLAs, quality standards, and data security protocols. Candidates must possess a completed 3-year IT vocational training or equivalent experience, coupled with at least three years of professional experience, ideally in Field Service. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to Germany's digital security infrastructure, working on innovative projects alongside major industry partners.

Successfully completed 3-year vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Specialist) or comparable qualification

Experience

  • 3 years of professional experience (or equivalent vocational training) in the IT field
  • Professional experience, preferably in Field Service
  • Experience working within a government or public sector environment (desirable)
