Job Summary

This role seeks a (Senior) Planning Engineer for Telecommunications Systems to independently manage and execute planning projects for railway telecommunication infrastructure, primarily supporting Deutsche Bahn AG projects. Daily responsibilities include performing specialized planning services, coordinating closely with all involved trades, developing technical concepts, conducting variant analyses, and accurately determining project costs and estimates. A critical aspect involves contract management, specifically identifying the scope of services owed and distinguishing non-contractual services (change orders). Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications or Telecommunications Technology and possess professional experience in planning railway infrastructure projects. Proficiency in planning tools like AutoCAD, ProSig, ProVi, and Microstation is required, along with strong knowledge of railway operations, HOAI, VOB, and relevant legal frameworks. The position offers flexibility in location across several major German cities and the chance to contribute to impactful global infrastructure planning initiatives.
