Job Summary

This role is for an IT Technician specializing in network and infrastructure support for a major IT service provider's end client, Volkswagen Sachsen GmbH, across the Zwickau and Chemnitz locations. The core responsibilities involve hands-on technical work, including performing network cabling and patching, connecting systems in server rooms and office spaces, and installing/removing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. The technician will also be responsible for the initial setup and configuration of systems following technical instructions, and managing workflow by processing and documenting tasks within a ticketing system. The ideal candidate holds a relevant IT qualification, possesses practical experience with network hardware and cabling, and demonstrates flexibility for shift work and weekend assignments.
