Job Summary

This role as a Datacenter Service Lead involves taking responsibility for the organization and quality control of all backend services within the datacenter environment. A core focus is ensuring reliable, secure, and fault-free IT operations globally for a leading German IT service provider. Day-to-day tasks include intense coordination with internal technical teams and project groups, as well as initiating and steering optimization measures to continuously improve service processes. You will also contribute significantly to the conception and implementation of new infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate possesses completed vocational training in IT System Integration or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of hands-on experience in administering complex server landscapes, specifically Windows and Linux. Expertise in virtualization technologies like VMware/vSphere, Citrix environments, and robust Backup/Recovery solutions is essential. This position requires a highly solution-oriented, structured, and team-focused approach, supported by strong German and good English language skills.
