Job Summary
This role requires an expert SCADA Architect to drive the development of next-generation Control & Protection (C&P) systems for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) platforms. The architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive SCADA and communication architectures, including HMI visualization and robust communication functionalities. Key responsibilities involve translating abstract requirements into system-level specifications, incorporating Security by Design principles with IT and network architects, and supporting the full development lifecycle from R&D through project delivery. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer with a strong background in complex SCADA systems and critical infrastructure, who can ensure the creation of modular, scalable, and innovative solutions within a data-driven engineering framework.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Several years of experience in complex SCADA system development
- Experience in technical project management and cross-functional coordination
- Domain knowledge of HVDC and FACTS station types (a plus)
