Job Summary

This full-time, permanent role seeks a detail-focused Aviation Electrician to maintain and repair critical electrical systems, primarily within aircraft landing gear assemblies. The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed inspections, diagnosing electrical faults using schematics and diagnostic tools, and fabricating wire harnesses and mechanical sub-assemblies. A key element of the role involves performing repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance while ensuring strict compliance with MRO and aviation safety regulations. Candidates must possess essential aerospace electrical experience, including prototype and aircraft wiring, and demonstrate the ability to interpret engineering drawings. This position requires strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and quality assurance teams in a fast-paced, shift-based MRO environment.

Required Skills

Education

Diploma or 'A' Level in Electrical Engineering (Desirable), Aerospace apprenticeship (Desirable), Maths & English GCSE (A–C or equivalent)

Experience

  • 2+ years in aircraft build or production
  • Essential professional experience in aerospace electrical systems (prototype, panel, and aircraft wiring)

Languages

English (Fluent)
