This role is based in Frankfurt and involves acting as First Level Support for flight simulator systems, specifically focusing on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, particularly within the visual systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of technical documentation, and preparing training devices for daily use. The technician will also carry out repairs on electrical components and implement hardware and software modifications according to manufacturer specifications. Key qualifications include a technical background in fields like Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or IT, combined with practical experience in computer and network technology. The position requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to work in a 24/7 shift system, and good English language skills. Required Skills

Education

Technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, IT, Television Technology, or Media Technology; Further training as a State Certified Technician (advantageous)

Experience

  • Professional experience in a relevant technical field (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT)
  • Practical experience in computer and network technology (desirable)
  • Experience in handling procedural instructions
