Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the maintenance team responsible for ensuring high operational availability of emergency training devices within the Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) network. The Team Leader will be crucial in implementing the production concept, driving efficiency improvements, and upholding stringent quality standards and customer needs. Key responsibilities include team leadership, staff development, project management, and operational oversight of the maintenance processes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical or engineering background, proven leadership experience, and expertise in process optimization, including the establishment of Lean philosophies and KPI monitoring. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to effectively manage complex technical operations and lead a dedicated team.

Required Skills

Education

University/Technical College degree in Technical Economics or Engineering Sciences, or a relevant vocational qualification with certification as a state-certified technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in leading and motivating employees
  • Long-term professional experience in comparable technical or engineering fields (required if educational background is vocational/technician level)
