Job Summary

This role seeks a highly qualified, doctoral-level physicist to join the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin, focusing on X-Ray Imaging within the "Sonrisa" project. The successful candidate will lead a work package focused on workflow development for zone-based CT analysis, execute and evaluate computed tomography measurements using laboratory micro-CT systems, and support the maintenance of these systems. A significant component involves developing software and algorithms for quantitative analysis of image datasets, including detecting volume changes, morphology of particles, and cracks. The position requires active participation in project meetings, acquisition of new research projects, and mentorship of Master's students, doctoral candidates, and technical staff.
