Job Summary
This role involves providing essential IT service management and support for public schools within the City of Nuremberg's 'Digital School' initiative. The specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networked systems, including hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure. A major part of the job is managing incidents via the Helpdesk, offering both First- and Second-Level Support, primarily through fieldwork at various school locations. Key requirements include a relevant professional IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist) and at least one year of professional experience in the field. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Microsoft client and server operating systems, basic Linux understanding is a plus, and must demonstrate high initiative, resilience, and a strong service-oriented approach to support the evolving digital educational landscape.
