Job Summary

The Laboratory Technician will join the State Laboratory Berlin-Brandenburg (LLBB), an accredited, independent public service provider focusing on consumer health protection, environmental health, veterinary medicine, and pharmaceutical monitoring. This is a permanent, full-time position. Key responsibilities include managing sample registration and logistics for residue analysis, organizing the lab, preparing measurement solutions using various extraction methods for pesticide residue analysis in food, and calibrating measurement systems. The role demands strict adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and includes supervising and instructing interns and students. The ideal candidate must possess a completed laboratory technician qualification, strong knowledge of general chemical procedures, good IT skills (MS Office), and a proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
