Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Support Technician to provide essential on-site support for a diverse, heterogeneous IT environment, particularly within a scientific setting in Oldenburg. The core daily responsibilities involve assisting end-users with technical questions and problems, performing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various hardware and software components, and ensuring meticulous documentation of all customer inquiries and resulting solutions. The ideal candidate must possess completed vocational training in the IT field or a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience, ideally in a Service Desk or similar IT support role. Proficiency with common tools like ticketing systems and strong knowledge of operating systems, especially Microsoft Clients, are required. Linux knowledge is beneficial.
