This role seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide essential on-site user support within a stable, scientifically focused IT environment in Cologne-Porz. The specialist will manage a diverse, heterogeneous IT infrastructure, offering solution-oriented assistance to end-users regarding technical issues. Daily tasks include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software components, systematic documentation of all customer inquiries and solutions using a ticketing system, and occasional deployment and operation support for Linux clients (Ubuntu/Red Hat). The ideal candidate possesses completed IT vocational training, proven experience in Service Desk functions, strong familiarity with Microsoft client environments, and the ability to work independently with a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
