Job Summary

This role is for an IT Systems Integration Technician based at a data center in Münster, focusing on the physical deployment and initial setup of server hardware. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing rack servers, such as Dell and Lenovo x86-based models, into standardized data center environments. A core function is precise network patching according to specifications, assigning IP addresses, and performing basic network configuration for connectivity. You will be responsible for detailed documentation of all work steps within the internal system and collaborating closely with administrator teams before handing over operational hardware. This position is attractive as it offers a permanent contract with a clear option for takeover by the client, providing a long-term perspective in an established IT environment. Candidates must have a completed IT Specialist qualification (System Integration) or comparable experience, coupled with solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, patch panels, and switch ports.
