Job Summary

This Research Associate position, based in Straubing, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable agriculture by developing an environmentally friendly, biodegradable foam designed to protect fruit trees and grapevines from late frosts. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the full research lifecycle: conceiving and executing material tests under practical conditions, analyzing the physical properties and biodegradability of the foam, collaborating with external research partners, and meticulously documenting and publishing the final results. Candidates should possess a university degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Material Sciences, or Horticulture, coupled with practical experience in fruit and wine cultivation. The role requires strong methodological thinking, organizational talent, reliability, and proficiency with MS-Office applications.
