Job Summary

This role involves supporting a crucial research project focused on developing biodegradable bale nets, contributing to sustainable agricultural practices within a Bavarian Ministry of Agriculture research facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently conducting laboratory development work, including the modification and coating of fibers, and rigorously testing physical properties and biological degradability. Day-to-day tasks include meticulous documentation of all lab work and test results, and assisting with practical field tests of the novel bale nets. Key requirements include a completed professional qualification as a Chemical-Technical Assistant, Laboratory Technician, or equivalent, along with strong organizational and communication skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in an experienced, motivated team on future-oriented topics, providing extensive training and a flexible working environment (flextime). The role is full-time and temporary, running from January 1, 2026, until June 30, 2027, located in Straubing.
