Job Summary

This role is for an IT Consultant specializing in Energy Data Management (EDM), contributing directly to the energy transition within E.ON Grid Solutions. The consultant will join the BizDevOps teams "EDM Electricity" and "Gas Balancing," focusing on the development and system operation of the e.Count EDM system. A core responsibility involves designing and managing the input and output of market messages across the entire system chain, ensuring robust market communication. Day-to-day tasks include optimizing, monitoring, and technically/functionally testing e.Count performance, managing interface monitoring, and coordinating system updates and testing between BizDevOps and the technical platform team. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics and demonstrate very strong knowledge of energy industry processes, particularly market communication. Ideal candidates will also bring experience with SQL, Web Services, and systems like eCount and SAP S/4. The position requires strong communication skills and fluent German alongside good English proficiency, offering a chance to actively shape the future of digital energy networks.
