Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Laboratory Technician specializing in microbiology and molecular biology, operating within a certified laboratory environment. The daily responsibilities encompass a range of essential lab techniques, including molecular biological tasks such as DNA extraction and QPCR. You will be responsible for preparing media and dilution series, determining optical density and germ counts, creating growth curves, and preparing isolates. Additionally, the position involves supporting in vivo studies through sample collection and shipping. Key qualifications include a relevant scientific degree or certification (BTA, Biology Lab Technician, or Biology Bachelor's degree), coupled with professional experience in sterile working practices and certified lab settings. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, meticulously, and fluently communicate in both German and English.
