Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Laboratory Technician specializing in Electrical Engineering to manage and establish new research laboratories at the Technology Campus Wörth-Wiesent. The core responsibilities include the procurement and setup of lab equipment, creating necessary safety protocols, and ensuring the smooth operation of the electrical engineering research environment. Day-to-day tasks involve hands-on technical work such as participating in research projects, commissioning innovative systems like photovoltaic (PV) plants, connecting lines to custom-developed converters, constructing control cabinets, and soldering/populating circuit boards in collaboration with scientists. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification or advanced certification (Technician/Master Craftsman) in Electrical Engineering, coupled with practical knowledge of electrical installation and strong manual dexterity. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering; or Advanced certification as a Technician or Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
