Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical Engineer specializing in rocket and spacecraft propellants for the ArianeGroup customer at the Lampoldshausen site. The primary responsibilities include independent project management, steering, and implementation of project content, as well as developing new chemical processes for analyzing materials used in propulsion systems. Key day-to-day duties involve the organization and execution of spacecraft propellant analyses, including non-volatile residue (NVR) and storage investigations, followed by the creation of comprehensive customer documentation (Acceptance Data Packages - ADP). Furthermore, the engineer is responsible for ensuring laboratory safety by reviewing hazard assessments, managing disposal processes in coordination with HSE, and overseeing the maintenance of lab equipment and measuring instruments. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology, possess at least three years of professional experience in related fields, and demonstrate fluency in both German and English, coupled with strong organizational and communication skills.
