Job Summary

The Aachen Police Headquarters is seeking a dedicated ICT Application Support Specialist to join the Central Tasks division. This critical, permanent, full-time role involves providing comprehensive IT user support, managing the helpdesk function, and ensuring the smooth operation of the agency's IT infrastructure. Day-to-day duties include planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware systems, with a specific focus on police-specific specialized applications. Candidates must possess a completed degree or vocational qualification in IT/Informatics, coupled with strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft systems, particularly Excel and Outlook. Success in this position requires high commitment, resilience, organizational skills, and the flexibility to perform on-call duties or work outside regular hours during special police operations. Required Skills

Education
