Job Summary

The Landeslabor Berlin-Brandenburg (LLBB), an independent, state-accredited testing service provider focusing on public health, environmental protection, and veterinary medicine, is seeking a Chemical-Technical Assistant. This role is crucial for supporting official duties in Berlin and Brandenburg. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the preparation and analysis of solid environmental samples, primarily soil, utilizing wet chemistry and instrumental analysis methods to determine nutrients, trace elements, and contaminants. The assistant will operate and maintain PC-controlled analytical systems, manage data within the Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS), and actively participate in quality assurance measures and the implementation of new procedures. The ideal candidate must possess formal qualifications as a certified Chemical-Technical Assistant or equivalent laboratory experience, strong analytical chemistry knowledge, and proficiency in IT tools like MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational and teamwork skills.

Required Skills

Education

State-certified Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA) or equivalent qualification (e.g., Laboratory Technician degree) based on comparable skills and experience

Experience
