Job Summary

This permanent, full-time Laboratory Technician role offers the opportunity to join a modern, internationally renowned dairy company established over 90 years ago, operating a highly automated and digitized facility in Mechernich. The core responsibilities involve critical quality assurance tasks, including conducting raw milk analyses and sensory evaluations of finished products. You will also be responsible for specialized testing, such as analyzing the concentration and effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection agents, as well as testing drinking and process water. A key part of the role is the meticulous calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, alongside participation in proficiency testing (Ringversuchen). Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent, coupled with significant professional experience within the food industry. Readiness to work in a 24/7 continuous shift model, including weekends and holidays, is mandatory, as are very good German language skills.
