Job Summary

The Kiel Civil Engineering Department is seeking a Master Electrician to join the team at the Bülk Sewage Treatment Plant and the Wik Pumping Station. This full-time, permanent role involves leading the electrical workshop, which serves as the central hub for electrotechnical maintenance and repair across the sewage treatment plant, pumping stations, and special structures. Key responsibilities include personnel deployment planning, ensuring workplace and system safety, documentation, assessing and managing damages, and overseeing external contractors. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's qualification in Electrical Engineering (Industrial or Skilled Trades) and demonstrate at least three years of relevant professional experience, including leadership experience. This position requires strong planning and coordination skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a commitment to appreciative and holistic employee leadership, often involving work in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions.
