Job Summary

This role invites a qualified engineer to join a leading German architectural and engineering consulting firm in Leipzig or Dresden, specializing in infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the preparation, conceptualization, and detailed planning of complex structural hydraulic engineering projects, including flood protection systems, locks, weirs, culverts, and pumping stations. A major focus will be on execution planning for regulatory structures, requiring the dimensioning of facilities and the creation of comprehensive explanatory reports. The position demands strong coordination skills to manage communication effectively with clients, regulatory authorities, and specialized planners. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, professional experience in execution planning compliant with DIN or Eurocode standards, and practical proficiency in CAD software such as Civil 3D, Revit, and AutoCAD. Fluency in German is a prerequisite for successful stakeholder engagement.
