Job Summary

This role seeks a Project Engineer specializing in Structural Hydraulic Engineering to join a leading German consulting firm in Leipzig or Dresden. The core responsibilities involve the preparation, conception, and detailed planning of critical structural water projects, including flood protection systems, locks, weirs, culverts, and pumping stations. A major focus is on the execution planning and dimensioning of regulatory structures, ensuring compliance with DIN/Eurocode standards. The engineer will also be responsible for generating explanatory reports and coordinating crucial communications with clients, authorities, and specialized technical planners throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Civil Engineering, Underground Construction, or a related field, coupled with professional experience in execution planning and practical knowledge of CAD tools like Civil 3D, Revit, and AutoCAD. Expertise in approval law and project handling is also required, alongside fluent German language skills.
