Job Summary

This role requires a seasoned professional to take responsible leadership of complex Structural Hydraulic Engineering projects across sites like Leipzig, Dresden, or Chemnitz. The Project Manager will oversee the independent planning and monitoring of large-scale concrete and steel hydraulic structures, including the dimensioning and overall handling of flood protection systems, locks, weir systems, and pumping stations. Key responsibilities include rigorous budget and resource calculation, as well as extensive coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Hydraulic Engineering, coupled with long-term professional experience in DIN/Eurocode-compliant projects. Expertise in German permitting and public procurement law is essential, along with negotiation-level German language skills.
