Job Summary
This role involves supporting technical intelligence gathering by capturing, processing, and preparing raw signals and information. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and evaluating route and provider information to align data acquisition, as well as implementing and monitoring collection systems. This includes evaluating, documenting, testing, and continuously overseeing these systems, alongside coordination, communication, documentation, reporting, and project controlling. A key aspect of the role is also the programming and further development of collection components. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Dipl. FH) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering (with an engineering focus), Mathematics, or Physics.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical intelligence gathering
- Experience with signal acquisition and processing
- Experience in implementing and monitoring collection systems
- Experience in programmatical modification and development of collection components
Languages
Additional
- German citizenship required; willingness to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü3) based on the Security Clearance Act (SÜG); willingness to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with new technical areas and tasks; willingness for continuous training and further education; location is Rheinhausen (Breisgau), but deployment at any BND location is possible as part of personnel development.
