Geoinformatics Specialist | Geoinformatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Geodata Management, Surveying, and Inventory Data department, focusing on the development and maintenance of the Geodata Infrastructure (GDI) essential for Germany's highway network. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and presenting geodata, ensuring the provision and exchange of road-related data services, and administering the GDI. Key daily tasks include quality assurance for GIS projects, conceptualizing and conducting training sessions on Geoinformation Systems (GIS) for internal and external stakeholders, and fully processing specialized geo and road data. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree in Geoinformatics or Geodesy with a focus on Geoinformatics, coupled with deep practical experience in GIS software (like ESRI ArcGIS or QGIS), web technologies, and data processing tools such as FME.
