The Scientist Polymer Chemistry will be deeply involved in research and development, focusing on the independent planning and execution of complex organic-preparative syntheses of polymers and their precursors. Key responsibilities include the isolation, purification, and evaluation of functionalized polymers using advanced analytical methods like GPC, NMR, and UV-Vis. The position also involves optimizing and scaling established synthesis processes for production transfer, evaluating new developments, and ensuring cross-location communication within project teams. Candidates must possess a strong background in polymer or macromolecular chemistry, expertise in designing and synthesizing homo- and copolymers using controlled radical polymerization techniques (e.g., ATRP, RAFT), and excellent German and English language skills.
