Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Application Service Specialist to coordinate the provision of central application services, particularly within the nephrological and neurological environments, focusing on biomedical signal processing systems. The specialist will work closely with internal and external experts in virtual service teams to develop and optimize cross-functional solutions. Key responsibilities include managing the entire order process, handling inquiries and requests for assigned services, and processing tickets within the Incident and Problem Management processes. A critical component of the job is maintaining thorough documentation, including the Service Catalog, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and operating manuals. Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant application services and technologies, the ability to work effectively in a team, and professional fluency in German (B2 minimum). This position offers flexibility, including the option for mobile work up to 60%, within a stable public sector environment.

University Degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

  • First professional experience in the IT sector (advantageous)
  • Knowledge in relevant application services and technologies
  • Experience in software and SQL database development/querying (advantageous)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
