Job Summary

This role involves optimizing software delivery within a modern municipal environment as a key member of the DevSecOps team at Wien Digital. The specialist will be crucial in defining methods, processes, and tools to enhance automation and expand the use of container technologies, ensuring both quality and speed in software deployment. Day-to-day tasks include optimizing and maintaining the entire DevSecOps toolchain, designing internal developer portals (IDP) utilizing technologies like OpenShift and ArgoCD, and evaluating new security tools to ensure compliance. The position requires practical experience in container-based software development and orchestration systems like Kubernetes/OpenShift, alongside familiarity with DevOps toolchains such as Azure (ARO) or Rancher. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, enjoy deep diving into technical subjects, and possess strong German language skills (B2 minimum).
