Job Summary

This role places you within the Management Office of the Customer Division, which advises the Vienna City Administration and the Vienna Health Association on all ICT matters. As the Budget Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for all finance and controlling tasks within the division. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting team, group, and project leads in developing and planning their respective ICT budgets, participating actively in strategic budget planning, and ensuring measures are in place to guarantee budget compliance. You will also be responsible for the timely recording of planning data and representing the division's financial interests during economic planning. Key requirements include a commercial degree (Business Administration, Economics) or specialized finance training combined with several years of professional experience, and strong knowledge of internal/external accounting and budgeting. The position offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and the opportunity for up to 60% mobile work.

Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in finance, controlling, and accounting
  • Multi-year experience in developing price strategies and cost analyses (Ideal)
  • Professional experience in implementing economic knowledge, especially in controlling and budgeting
