Job Summary

This role involves managing complex IT system landscapes crucial for public security agencies, such as the Federal Police and the Federal Criminal Police Office, operating within both German national and EU contexts. The manager will coordinate fundamental tasks across project, program, and process management, focusing on high-level organizational support. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and iteratively optimizing budget and specialized controlling processes, supporting leadership with resource planning, steering external service providers, and preparing essential reports for steering committees. Candidates must possess a strong background in IT, demonstrated by a relevant degree or professional certification, coupled with at least two years of experience working with diverse stakeholders and driving innovative process digitalization. An agile mindset is highly valued. This position offers an unlimited contract in Cologne with the Federal Administration Office (BVA), providing the opportunity to make a significant contribution to public safety and offering flexible working models, including up to 80% remote work.
