Job Summary
The HCL Domino System Administrator will be a key member of the IT Infrastructure HCL Server team for the City of Stuttgart, responsible for the planning, design, setup, and operation of the central HCL Domino server infrastructure. This includes managing approximately 50 HCL Domino servers and 18,000 user accounts, providing essential services like mail and applications. The role also involves creating and maintaining ITSM service descriptions according to ITIL, implementing IT security guidelines based on BSI IT-Grundschutz, and supporting HCL Notes clients at a 2nd level. This position offers a stable, permanent role within a public sector environment, focusing on critical infrastructure management and IT security.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable university degree; alternatively, a completed IT-specific vocational training.
Experience
- Several years of experience in IT administration
- Ability to independently learn complex topics
- Experience in user administration and HCL Notes support (ideally)
- Experience in HCL Domino system administration (ideally)
- Professional experience in IT-specific roles (for non-graduates, minimum 3 years)
