Job Summary
This role is for a highly motivated DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a cross-location team focused on air traffic control systems in Bremen. The successful candidate will contribute to the setup, development, and operation of data center platforms, cloud services, and application services, ensuring their secure, stable, and future-proof operation. Key responsibilities include designing and documenting complex service architectures, automating platforms and services, advising users, and enhancing IT security. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable IT-focused studies
Experience
- Professional experience in administering Linux systems
- Experience with common DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with common automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with a common programming language (e.g., Python) and building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in container, orchestration, and cloud solutions (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience in operating a data center platform or individual cloud services (e.g., Proxy, DNS, VPN, IAM, Monitoring, Microservices, Backup Tools) is a plus

Additional
- Medical fitness, willingness to be on call or work rotating shifts, Class B driving license, willingness to undergo an extended security clearance check according to the Security Clearance Act (SÜG), location in Bremen
