Job Summary
The City of Stuttgart is seeking an Engineer for Energetic Urban Development to join its Environmental Protection Office. This role is crucial for implementing the city's energy and climate protection concept, aiming for rapid climate neutrality. Day-to-day, the engineer will identify and define measures for energy and climate protection concepts within urban districts, analyze energy-saving potentials, and evaluate energy supply options considering ecological and economic factors. The position involves applying for funding, coordinating stakeholders such as energy providers and residents, conceptualizing and conducting information events, and managing external service providers. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to national and international research projects. Required Skills
Education
Master's or Diploma degree in Energy and Climate Protection or related fields (scientific university degree). For foreign degrees, state recognition in Germany is required.

- Professional experience in energy technology, especially in building and energy supply (non-residential and residential)
- Ability to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with complex tasks
