Job Summary

As a License Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive administration, optimization, and compliance of software licenses for a leading public transport company in Stuttgart. Your core mission will be to minimize legal risks, optimize costs, and enhance transparency regarding deployed software products and cloud-based services. Day-to-day, you'll conduct license balancing, perform regular reviews, and advise internal stakeholders on license models and requirements. You will also identify savings potential, refine the license strategy, and monitor cloud-based services, including reporting and tagging. This role involves managing the economic aspects of cloud and subscription services, overseeing the operational license lifecycle (including procurement, additional licensing, and quantity reduction), and conducting audits. This position offers a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with various departments and external auditors, contributing valuable insights to ensure legal compliance and cost efficiency.
