Job Summary
This role is for an IT Specialist focused on client administration, support, and hotline services within the Department for Digitalization, Organization, and IT for the City of Stuttgart. The successful candidate will be responsible for incident and problem management at the service desk, supporting hardware, software, and municipal specialized software for various departments. Key duties include administering and supporting end-user devices across multiple locations, primarily Windows-based systems and mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. The position also involves ensuring IT security for end-user devices and managing the IT lifecycle, from goods receipt to the disposal of old equipment. Required Skills
Education
Completed IT-related vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist)
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the IT sector
- Experience in client administration with Windows 11
- Experience in automated software distribution
- Experience at a service desk
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITIL)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to regularly staff the hotline and central late hotline (approx. 1 day per week).
