Job Summary
Join a DFG-funded project at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg focusing on developing an autonomous, self-learning process chain for CO2 carbonization using mining waste. This role involves tackling climate change by permanently storing CO2 through carbonization. You will formulate and simulate mathematical models for a precipitation reactor, conduct experiments to determine model parameters, and test various control algorithms with project partners for autonomous, model-based operation. This position offers a unique opportunity for scientific qualification towards a doctorate, supporting the development of innovative solutions for sustainable CO2 management while working within a dynamic research environment.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree (above average) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering or natural science field
