Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join a dynamic team at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Behavioral Economics. You will be instrumental in developing multimodal AI systems for deception detection, focusing on analyzing facial expressions, integrating vital parameters and gesture analysis, and processing RGB/thermal video and audio data. The role involves conducting experiments on human behavior with AI and collaborating interdisciplinarily. This position is ideal for someone with strong expertise in image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, and deep learning, looking to contribute to a field with significant applications in medicine, psychotherapy, security, and economic negotiations. The role offers the possibility of pursuing a PhD and contributing to cutting-edge research.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Vision, or a related field
Experience
- Professional experience in image processing and pattern recognition
- Professional experience in computer vision and sensor data processing

- Extensive programming experience in Python and C++
- Experience with self-reliance and willingness to collaborate with colleagues

- The position is limited to 36 months, starting November 1, 2025, or the earliest possible date. Working hours are 50-75% of full-time. The role offers the possibility of pursuing a PhD.
