Job Summary
This role is for a Natural Scientist to join the molecular pathology diagnostics team at a high-performing, accredited institute. The successful candidate will be involved in the evaluation of molecular lab data from various sources like qPCR, pathogen detection, fragment length analyses, and multiple NGS approaches, compiling detailed result reports and ensuring quality parameters are met. The position also entails contributing to quality assurance, data statistics, and the establishment of innovative molecular technologies. Furthermore, the role supports research projects by scientifically summarizing and evaluating molecular pathological sequencing results, leading to presentations and publications. The institute offers a modern workplace within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on advanced high-throughput NGS and gene expression analytics.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree in natural sciences (e.g., life sciences)
Experience
- Professional experience in molecular analytics, especially Next-Generation Sequencing technology
- Experience with molecular lab data evaluation and report generation
- Experience in quality assurance processes
