Job Summary
The Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) is seeking a Research Associate to join their "X-ray Imaging" department in Berlin-Steglitz. This role involves contributing to a project focused on determining measurement uncertainty in industrial computed tomography. Key responsibilities include expanding and developing the aRTist simulation software for metrological questions, designing and implementing CT measurements, and developing software for automated feature evaluation and quantitative data analysis. The successful candidate will also cooperate with internal and external research groups and industrial partners, actively acquire research projects, and document results through scientific publications and presentations. This position offers an opportunity to work in national and international networks and contribute to cutting-edge research in material science and engineering.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Master or Diploma) in Physics, Medical Physics, Physical Engineering Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field. A completed doctorate is desirable.
