Job Summary

This role involves performing partial acceptance tests on railway control and safety technology systems, ensuring their functionality and compliance. The Junior Expert will guide and oversee test assistants, manage necessary replacement measures, and provide technical support for control and safety technology issues. They will also contribute to regional and central special projects and assist in developing acceptance concepts. Ideal candidates will have a background in electrical engineering or a related field, practical experience in control and safety technology, and excellent communication skills. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a responsible role within Germany's largest engineering firm, contributing to critical infrastructure projects for future generations.

Required Skills

Education

University degree or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a comparable field with sufficient electrical engineering components. Alternatively, a Master Craftsman/Technician qualification relevant to the field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and/or acceptance in control and safety technology (LST) is ideal
  • Alternatively, at least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or control and safety technology if holding a Master Craftsman/Technician qualification
  • Willingness to undergo internal qualification to become a certified expert in partial acceptance testing
