Job Summary

As a Commissioning Engineer for Gas Turbines, you will be a key player in bringing energy power plants to life globally. Your day-to-day involves hands-on work at customer sites, including starting up pumps and motors, solving unexpected technical issues, and fine-tuning control parameters. A significant part of your role will be achieving the critical 'First Fire' of gas turbines. You'll also be responsible for comprehensive system testing, fault diagnosis, and providing solutions to customer problems, often implementing them yourself. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of power plant technology, and excellent communication to interact with other engineers and train customer personnel. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor / Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering)

Experience

  • Professional experience in the relevant work area (advantageous)
  • Experience in power plant operation and maintenance (advantageous)
  • Specific know-how in the operation and maintenance of Siemens gas or steam turbines (advantageous)
