Job Summary
This role involves providing direct, hands-on IT support to users in a modern support environment, specifically for a leading IT service provider working with Deutsche Bank in Essen. The technician will handle a variety of tasks including personal IT assistance via 'Floorwalk' and 'TechLounge' support, managing tickets in ServiceNow, and providing hardware support for notebooks, MacBooks, iPhones/iPads (including BYOD). Software support covers Windows 10/11, MS Office 365, Bitlocker, VDI, VPN, MFA, and IP telephony. Key responsibilities also include setting up smart devices (iOS & Android), managing users and devices in Azure & Intune, and troubleshooting issues using a knowledge base. This position is ideal for someone comfortable with user interaction, proficient in Windows and Apple technologies, and eager to contribute to a long-term infrastructure project.
